Le dispositif FastFind Crew1 AIS Man Overboard (MOB) transmet un message AIS MOB avec la position et l’ID de l’utilisateur����s via l’AIS (Automatic Identification System) lorsqu’il est activé. La transmission est alors reçue par les navires équipés de l’AIS qui se trouvent à portée radio locale. Le récepteur GPS intégré transmet la position exacte de l’utilisateur����s, ce qui réduit considérablement le temps nécessaire pour le localiser. L’appareil MOB AIS FastFind Crew1 est également doté d’une lumière blanche clignotante qui aide les sauveteurs à localiser précisément l’utilisateur dans l’eau. L’appareil peut être transporté dans la pochette de ceinture fournie, mais il peut également être fixé sur les gilets de sauvetage à l’aide des options d’attache fournies. Une fois le gilet de sauvetage gonflé, tirez le cordon d’activation vers le bas, ce qui libère le capuchon rouge et déploie l’antenne.
